I bought this mower about 6 weeks. I can’t say enough good things about the mower. Cub Cadet really nailed it with this product: fabricated deck, commercial transmission, Kawasaki engine, wide turf tires, and comfortable seat. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the mulching kit. The company I purchased the mower from installed the mulching kit. It is a complete waste of money. It does not seal the deck and with the holes it acts as a chimney to suck the grass clippings onto the deck and build up quickly around the belt. I highly recommend the mower, but not the mulching kit. This would have been a 5 star rating if not for the mulching kit.

This is my first Zero-Turn mower. So far I love it, but I’m still getting used to it. There is a learning curve coming from a steering lawn tractor, to a Zero-Turn. It’s very sturdy. It takes half the time it used to take to more my lawn. I haven’t found anything that I dislike yet, except for when someone waves “Hi” don’t wave back! You’ll swerve.. Lol

Stepping up from a 42” lawn tractor. I was a little unsure about a zero turn because my yard has several obstacles and a steep incline along with a pond that has a steep bank all the way around it. This is the perfect choice. One lap around my yard I figured out how easy it is to operate. My old mower took 3 hours to mow my grass. I’m happy to say my firs time mowing with the ZT2 50 only took 1.5 hours and every time gets done a little faster as I’m getting more comfortable with it. The hills and the pond bank are no problem I’m getting just as close if not closer to the pond edge with this zero turn. The obstacles are much easier to mow around with this mower. I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase. I just want to say if you are like me and only mowing your own lawn and not a landscaping company this is the best bang for your buck $$. No need to spend twice as much money because in the end you are only cutting grass. I definitely recommend the product.
