I had a Cub Cadet LT1045 for 16 yrs, bought new. No major problems. Wanted to try the zero turn, bought the XTZ1 50″ deck. Moving up to this zero turn has been an excellent choice so far. No plastic parts except deck chute and engine shroud. Super comfortable seat and ride. Big tires front & back, 3 rubber pads on cab floor, Great steering with tilt, 3 blade deck cuts level, led lights, great on slopes, just a big step up from tractor type mower
I love this mower! It is the steering wheel is so much better than constantly pushing bars and trying to keep them adjusted correctly to go in a straight line!
Two things I’m not fond of which aren’t deal breakers at all, there’s no gas gauge and well, I ran out of gas when I was about an acre away from my gas container. And my other con is, that grass piles up on them belts on the deck. I usually clean the deck off when I finish mowing, but this mower likes to really hold on the the clippings! Like I said, not a deal breaker because I truly love driving this mower on my 6 acres!
