Did a ton of research on a mower and this was one of the only options with a 42” fabricated deck. I was initially excited because I worked hard to be able to invest the money. For the price I’m disappointed. These are not cheap and I ended up spending about 8 hours in total chasing manufacturing issues and assembly due to the Tractor Supply person calling off and very lack luster directions. I should add I am not a novice on small engines or this type of assembly but everything needed adjusted, lubricated, etc. minor damage from shipping. Tractor supply ‘stocks’ the blades but good luck finding them cause every one in my area lists blades in stock but there is nothing in store. Literally have spent hours adjusting the deck to spec and I still cannot get an even cut. Originally went to the store and they recommended ordering online….went home…noticed it was $40 more to order online…went back to store…ordered in store because there’s an order in store discount. I’d truly wish this was a five star review but unfortunately it’s not.

This mower is fantastic! The 42-inch fabricated deck cuts clean and smooth, even on thick grass. The Kawasaki engine is powerful and reliable. Setup was straightforward, and it’s very comfortable to operate with a good turning radius. I’ve had it for over a year with no issues, and it handles my 2-acre lawn effortlessly. Highly recommend!

Just bought this last week and have numerous issues. The mower deck was way out of whack so had to spend 1 and a half hours leveling it. When set on the highest number, 7, it was cutting at about 3 inches or less! Found that the mower clutch wires were rubbing on the drive pulley shaft and belt. Two holes were worn through the protective sheathing that covers the wires! Had to reroute the wires away from the drive belt and engine shaft. Why should the customer have to do any of this???! The LED headlights are pretty dim and not much use. The drive belt has been squealing loudly from the git-go. The notches for the mower lift lever on the fender hook my shorts when getting off the tractor. I have to then unhook my shorts to prevent tearing my shorts or be very careful not to let it hook them in the first place. Makes me yearn for my old John Deere! The engine is loud. The frame grommet for the electric and fuel line was not installed fully, which left the fuel and electric lines rubbing against the steel edge of the frame. This is what the grommet was supposed to prevent and protect but it was not fully seated due to shotty manufacturing!
