Bought this John Deere S180 about 4 months ago. After 16 hours, it’s already been to the repair shop twice. Small tires led to issues. If I’d known the problems, I’d have returned it. Disappointed
Great mower for the money. I have about 5 acres and needed the 54‑inch deck — it’s perfect. Very good service, runs and cuts great. Had to level the deck initially, as expected. I like the fuel gauge and electric PTO.
Outstanding lawn tractor. Upgraded from a 19 HP 42‑inch deck to the S180 24 HP with a 54‑inch deck — what a difference. Strong engine, smooth transmission, cuts perfectly even wet or tall grass. Very comfortable and highly recommend. Wish I bought it sooner
Great product. Bought it at Lowe’s when my other mower was in for service. It cut excellent on the first attempt, and it mulched through very tall grass quickly. Really fast clean cut. So far, so good
Love this mower! Had a D160 with no issues. Upgraded to the S180 — absolute beast. Goes up hills like a champ. Never bogs down in tall grass. For most yards, the 100 Series offers fantastic value.
