This thing is a beast! I’ve got a couple of acres and the 60-inch deck just chews through the grass. Super comfy seat, easy to steer, and it actually makes mowing kind of fun. Never thought I’d say that!

I’ve had the Z545R for about six months now, and it’s been a game changer for my lawn care routine. I have a large yard with some tricky slopes and tight spots, and this mower handles everything I throw at it. The speed and maneuverability are fantastic—I can finish mowing in half the time it used to take me. The seat is comfortable, which is important since I’m out there for a while, and the controls are intuitive. I do wish the fuel tank was a bit bigger, as I have to refill if I’m doing the whole property in one go, but that’s a minor issue. Maintenance has been easy so far, and I appreciate the quality of the materials. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it!

I’ve been using the Z545R for almost a year now, and I have to say, it’s made a huge difference in how I take care of my property. The 54-inch deck covers a lot of ground quickly, and the cut is always even, even when the grass is a little damp. I do wish it was easier to clean under the deck, as grass tends to build up there, but overall, maintenance has been pretty straightforward. The engine is powerful and starts up every time, even after sitting for a while. I also appreciate how comfortable the seat is, since I spend a lot of time mowing. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a larger yard!

Not bad, but not amazing either. Had some trouble with the starter after a few months. Dealer fixed it, but I expected more from John Deere. It does mow well, though.
