I bought this the moment it hit the shelves, I love this thing it never clogs or stalls and I can get 0.52 acres of lawn cut in half the time it takes with my old 21 inch deck ryobi
Generally, a great mower. Something isn’t quite right when mowing long grass, though. We’ve had a lot of rain in New Hampshire this May and June and haven’t been able to mow as often as I normally would. I don’t know if it’s the dual blade setup or something else, but I often have had to mow areas twice to get the job done. Battery life is great on dry “normal” days but less so when it’s wet with long grass. Recharging is a breeze, though – so much faster than my 40V for my other house, where I need 2 batteries to get the job done. Big RYOBI fan here!
this mower is almost perfect… the battery could have a few more mAh’s… the drive speed slider feels a bit cheap and chincy… this actuator should have been a roll dial with detents so that you can click a speed… the go lever adjustment is great feature, but the plastic used seems toy like and fragile … time will tell if the plastics hold up to time and uv exposure … the wheels and deck seem surprisingly more sturdy than i would thought… the beast is heavy but not unmanageable… the 30 inch deck makes mowing effortless… the bagging is just as annoying as any other mower… this is my first electric mower and i am very happy with it… i have used dozensif different gas mowers personally and professionally and so far this seems to be on par with a decent, small comercial grade walk behind…
