his thing is a beast. I really like the adjustability of the speed. At top speed I almost have difficult time keeping up with it. It cuts the lawn really well. If the grass is long, the mower uses more battery power to cut through it. The battery only last 45 minutes in that situation. The battery charges very fast.
Bought this a month ago and wish I bought it a long time ago. Saves time on the yards we do. Instead of tsk8ng 2 hours, it takes only 1. Cuts the time in half!
The battery is disappointing. Advertised as up to a one acre cut, however my 3/10 acre grass regularly kills the battery. The battery does charge quickly however so just a few minutes of charging and I can generally finish the yard. The blades slow down in thin grass and there’s a lag until the blade speed up when you hit thicker grass, leaving areas patchy. When bagging, there’s not enough velocity from the cut grass to fill the bag and the chute tends to plug up, especially if the grass damp.
The mower was manufactured in 2023, limited stock , the self propel system did not work properly, Had to shut mower off to stop the self propel. Returned to store with no issue, bought a 21 inch that i like but it is a little smaller then i wanted.
It does not cut quite as well as my previous EGO mower but it makes up for that with how much quicker it is to mow my lawn. I believe other reviews have mentioned this – be aware of how heavy this mower is making it more difficult to maneuver. If that is not a concern to you, the time savings is well worth it.
